An excellent period rcord of the flora and fauna to be found in the English countryside of the time. Includes 12*colour plates. 180pp. Blue cloth boards with embossed decoration, gilt lettering and decoration to pine. Light shelf-wear to corners and corners are turned. Light sunning to spine cloth, though gilt still lively. Gift inscription dated 1864 written to free end paper. Final text page has a careful repair to a closed tear, almost invisible.
