iv (inc Title page) + 132 pages+ 12 single sided plated ( numerous illustrations within text). Condition; mottled hardback binding with leather spine, good, some edge rubbing. Contents Very good, clean & tight, signed inside front E Spencer 1866 , a few corner tip folds, the binder has trimmed the base of pages a bit too closely. 2nd edition, all plates are black & white by Tuffen West. Title states with upwards of four hundred illustration by Tuffen West . We believe this 1864 copy was the 2nd edition of this popular title. To sum up a remarkably clean copy. Size: 15 x 10cm Approx.
