Cynthia Kidder is the mother of three sons, the youngest of whom has Down syndrome. She is a writer and presenter to families and educators regarding maximizing the potential of young people with Down syndrome.

Brian Skotko is currently in his third year as a student at Harvard Medical School. He has two sisters, one of whom has Down syndrome and has committed a great deal of his professional energy to increasing awareness of the capabilities of persons with Down syndrome.
