The Commonweal: A Study Of The Federal System Of Political Economy (1909)

The Commonweal: A Study of the Federal System of Political Economy (1909) is a book written by Alfred Peter Hillier. The book explores the concept of federalism in political economy, specifically how it can be applied to create a more equal and just society. Hillier argues that federalism, which involves the decentralization of power and the sharing of resources among different levels of government, can be used to promote economic growth and social welfare. The book provides a historical overview of federalism, including its development in the United States and Europe, and analyzes its potential benefits and drawbacks. Hillier also discusses the role of government in regulating the economy and promoting social justice, and offers suggestions for how federalism can be used to achieve these goals. The Commonweal is a comprehensive study of federalism in political economy and remains relevant to contemporary debates about economic and political systems. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
