Peter Blickle, Ph.D. (1964) in History, University of Munich, Professor for Early Modern History (1972) in Saarbr�cken, teaches European History at the University of Berne, Switzerland (since 1980). He has published extensively in Legal History - Landschaften im Alten Reich, (1973), Agrarian History - Studien zur geschichtlichen Bedeutung des deutschen Bauernstandes, (1988) and Reformation History - The Revolution of 1525, (1977); Communal Reformation, (1992).
