Communication and Conflict Studies : Disciplinary Connections, Research Directions

This book explores relations between communication and conflict. How one thinks about communication is demonstrated as shaping how one approaches conflict, and vice versa. Individuals engaged in conflict transformation apply the tools and strategies of their field while communicating to widely divergent audiences. Adrienne P. Lamberti is Associate Professor of Languages & Literatures at the University of Northern Iowa, USA, where she also directs the university’s Professional Writing program. Dr. Lamberti has published extensively on the rhetoric of professional communication, especially concerning the production side of agriculture. 

Anne R. Richards is Professor of English and Interdisciplinary Studies at Kennesaw State University, USA, where she directs the Peace Studies program. Dr. Richards was a founding faculty of the KSU International Conflict Management Program and has served as a Fulbright Fellow and Specialist in Tunisia and the Philippines.
