Francis Pakes is a comparative scholar with a particular interest in how globalisation affects criminal justice discourses and practices. He has published several books, including Riot, Unrest and Protest on the Global Stage (with David Pritchard, 2014) and Globalisation and the Challenge to Criminology (2013), an edited collection.
