The Comparative Value Of Enucleation And The Operations Which Have Been Substituted For It (1900)

The Comparative Value Of Enucleation And The Operations Which Have Been Substituted For It, written by George Edmund De Schweinitz and published in 1900, is a medical book that explores the benefits and drawbacks of different surgical procedures used to treat eye conditions. The book focuses primarily on the comparison between enucleation, the removal of an eye, and other operations that have been developed as substitutes for this procedure. De Schweinitz provides a detailed analysis of the different techniques used in these operations, along with their respective outcomes and complications. Through this analysis, he aims to determine which procedure is the most effective for treating specific eye conditions. The book is intended for medical professionals who specialize in ophthalmology, as well as students and researchers in the field. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
