Two Volumes. Hardback, Small 8vo approx 5.25 x 3.25 inches. Full calf leather binding, with gilt line paneled boards, gilt line banding to spines with black leather spine labels lettered in gilt. Marbled endpapers. All page edges gilt. In very good condition. Covers a little worn, spines and edges rubbed, top corners a little chipped, some darkening and handling marks to boards, some staining to rear boards. Spine label chipped on dictionary. Neat inscriptions to front endpapers ?Given to Lady Sudley by her most affectionate friend & well wisher Augusta, Nov 28 1798.? (Princess Augusta Sophia & Viscountess Sudley - Countess of Arran.) Some minor darkening to edges of pages in Dictionary, dark spot to bottom edge of pages between sections E to K. Some minor offsetting adjacent maps in Geography.
