VG clean copy in contemporary full calf, very neatly rebacked at some time with gilt bands and lettering on the spine. Scarce and important early education in astronomy and physics - p xxiv 'Mrs Bryan receives Young Ladies for the purposes of Education at Bryan-House, Blackheath'. Signed 'Sophy Sheddeck (?)' on the fly leaf - probably one of her Young Ladies.
