London: Printed by the Assigns of Rich. And Edw. Atkins, Esquires, for J. Walthoe, 1699. [xvi], 642, [14] pp. Four parts, each with title page. Variant cancel title page with horizontal chain lines. Title preceded by publisher advertisement. Final leaf is a blank. 12mo. (6-1/2" x 4-3/4"). Contemporary calf, blind rules to boards, blind fillets along spine, raised bands, later red gilt lettering piece to spine, gilt fillets along board edges. A few minor scratches and a few inkspots to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, small chip to head of spine, front hinge cracked. Light toning to text, somewhat heavier in places. An attractive copy. $1,250. * First edition, one of two issues from 1699.
