Rare 1649 copy of Albertus Magnus's, "Compendium Theologicae Veritatis." The book looks like it may have possibly had an old rebinding in either the 18th or very early 19th century. The covers have some mild scuffing and wear with some light corner wear. The last few leaves of the index at the back of the book are missing, though the actual text of the book is complete. There is some chipping to the top corner to a small chunk of pages at the end of the book with a small area of worming. It affects some of the text in the index. There are some other areas of minor worming to a small chunk or two of pages, but for the most part the text is not affected. There is a hole in the middle of the last index page. The binding of the book is good and sound and seems pretty strong. The pages are toned with age with some occasional pale staining. Some pages may have a very small tear or minor chip, as well as the occasional creased page corner, light wrinkle or minor bit of foxing/soiling. The book is a fairly small volume. It measures approximately 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/4 inches and is 586 pages long. Seller Inventory # 303139396683
