About the Author
Robert M. Frakes held an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship at the Leopold Wenger Institute for Ancient Legal History and Papyrus Research at the University of Munich periodically from 1995-2007, and has taught in the History Department at Clarion University since 1991 where he is currently Department Chair.
