[I-viii], ix-lxxxiv, [4], [1-2], 3-427, [428], [14], [2] pp. including appendix, notes, appendix, and the angler's calendar compiled by Hi Regan. The first Le Gallienne Edition. Photogravure plate of Walton as the frontispiece with tissue guard and another within the text of Charles Cotton. There are 51 full-page woodcuts and 153 smaller cuts and vignettes engraved by Edmund H. New. The book is bound in the original light green rough cloth with dark green titles on the spine and front cover. See Coigney182. The book is in very good condition with the spine faded to tan and light corner wear to the cloth.
