The Complete Angler, xv, 445 pp 8.0 x 5.5 inches, containing six original etchings, two tissue guarded portraits and 74 wood engravings, bound with John Jackson: 'The Practical Fly-Fisher' 16 pp with 10 plates, coloured by hand, representing 120 flies, natural and artificial. Full maroon leather binding which appears almost as new. Titled in gilt on green leather label on the spine between 2 of the 5 raised bands. Decorated with oval gold device portraying Saint Peter in the middle with Latin motto. Bound by the Radley College [formerly St Peter's] College. The decorative spine area with lightly sunned or loss of tint. Small loss of leather above the top band. Beautifully marbled to the book block, end-papers and fore, top and tail edges. Full page ink label on front page-down dated 1895. A beautiful copy.
