About the Author
John Kimble has 25 years of basketball coaching experience. Most recently, he served as the head boy s basketball coach at Crestview (FL) High School for 10 years. During Kimble s tenure, the team averaged almost 18 wins each season (excluding his first year at the helm). Kimble s extensive basketball coaching career also includes stints at Lexington (IL) High School, Deland-Weldon (IL) High School, Dunlap (IL) High School, and Central Florida Community College in Ocala, Florida. Kimble is frequently invited to speak at coaching clinics and camps, has written numerous articles that have appeared in various basketball publications, has written five well-received instructional books on basketball, and has been featured on several popular basketball DVDs. Kimble is currently teaching math classes at Crestview (FL) High School, still studying the game, and still writing basketball articles and books.
