Complete Beginners Guide To Tarot

Cut the deck and draw your first card. The Page of Swords – you are curious and bold. And the second? The Hermit. A seeker after truth, prepared to venture forth to find it. The third and final card? The World.

You shall find the answers you seek, and your curiosity will be fulfilled. For centuries, tarot has offered its practitioners a resource to ask questions about their fate and that of the people and the world around them. For some it's a meditative exercise, for others a magical tool. In this book you'll discover its sometimes surprising history, and how it went from an ordinary card game to one of the world's most famous divination tools. You'll learn the occult secrets behind the imagery of the cards and discover who put them there, and why. Plus, you'll find an in-depth guide to the meanings of the 22 cards of the Major Arcana and the 56 cards in the suits of the Minor Arcana, and easy-to-follow diagrams and guides to the most popular kinds of card readings, so that you too can interpret the mysteries of the tarot.
