HB fourth edition. Brown leather boards. Front board missing. 5 raised bands on spine. Gilt titles on red leather spine. 28 x 22 x 6.3cm. Unpaginated. Engraved portrait frontis. In two parts. I = The Appellative of Common Words. II = The Proper Names in the Scriptures. To this Part is prefixed a Table containing the Significations of the Words in the Original Languages from which they are derived. Condition. Weight of book has rended front board missing. Top and bottom leather of spine fraying. Wear on spine and back spine seam. Age and handling discolouration on back. Back corners heavy wear, board showing. Opening 2 pages including frontis adrift from binding. First blank page annotation in period ink writing. Page edges scuffed and frayed + age discoloured. Frontis evenly age discoloured but portrait clear. Title page slight age discolouration. Remainder internally clean, little wear, binding holding firm. End paste down age discoloured in seam. The odd age discolouration mark but in the main good colour. Missing front lets it down, therefore fair condition. All perfectly readable. Please note heavy book which may incur extra postage if sent outside UK.
