Two three-quarter leather hardcovers with black leather; marbled-paper boards; red panel, gilt lettering and decorations to spines; outer edges of text blocks marbled; gray endpapers; 1829 on title page of volume one and 1830 on title page of volume two. Volume one with 431 pages, 6 foldouts, 10-page index. Volume two with 480 pages; 2 foldouts. Both volumes in about very good minus condition with a little loss to edges of binding and vertical edges of spines; slight scuffing and a small peel streak to marbled boards of volume one; volume two with light scuffing to back board; top edges of text blocks are darker; both are straight; hinges strong; each with bookplate of Frances Mary Richardson Currer (Wikipedia: Frances Mary Richardson Currer (3 March 1785 - 28 April 1861) was a British heiress and book collector); a little foxing to some pages; more to the foldouts.
