About the Author

Series editor and author Dean Roberts is co-author of Complete English as Second Language for Cambridge IGCSE (2014) and Essential First Language English for Cambridge IGCSE. He has 15 years' experience of working on English-language projects, managing teams of examiners and moderators, overseas training, and professional development of teachers in English language. Dean has particular examining and training expertise in 11-14 English, and Bilingual education. Alan Jenkins has several years' experience as an English examiner for ages 14-16. He was Head of English with responsibility for a large English department at schools in the UK for over 20 years, and has taught 11-14 for the same length of time.
