1894. (hardcover) Very good. xii, 451pp / xxxviii, 431pp. Tall 8vo. In two sections; section one being text, section two tables and accompanying explanations. Rebound in fallow-coloured fabricoid boards; lettering in gold to spine, head and heel of spine double ruled in gold. Previous owners' inscriptions to original ffep; remnants of tape at gutter of ffep (where the hinge of original binding was once repaired?). Title page reinforced at gutter (once detached and repaired at time of rebind?). Fold-out on p.443 repaired with tape; head of p.151 repaired with tape as well as p.431. Minor age tonight, else tight and clean. Illus., plates, maps, diagrams. An accetable, complete copy. "New Edition. Considerably Augmented and Improved; by W.H. Rosser".
