He is a retired Navy SEAL and is President and founder of Odyssey Adventure Racing. He currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA. Kara Schaad is an experienced adventure racer and the former fitness columnist for the Health Section of the Chicago Sun-Times. Her work also has been published in TravelSport and Windy City Sports magazines.
