- Do you often feel dizzy, breathless, or experience a racing heart for no clear reason?
- Have you ever wondered if your fatigue could be something more serious—like anemia?
- Are you looking for a clear, reliable, and easy-to-understand guide that actually helps you take control of your blood health?
- Would you like to uncover the true causes of anemia and finally learn how to recover through proper nutrition, diagnosis, and lifestyle adjustments?
Anemia is more than just “low blood count”—it’s a silent disruptor of energy, focus, and quality of life. In Complete Guide to Anemia, I provide a reader-friendly, expert-level roadmap designed to help everyday individuals, caregivers, and even health-conscious readers understand anemia from the inside out. With no co-authors or ghostwriters, this is my solo mission to bring clarity, practical advice, and lasting wellness into your life.
You don’t have to feel drained, pale, or confused anymore. This book empowers you to recognize warning signs, ask the right questions at your doctor’s office, and begin a personal healing journey using proven treatments and evidence-based nutritional practices. It’s been my deep intention to offer enlightenment for living well—through smarter dietary choices, lifestyle improvements, and clearer understanding of what your body is telling you.
Here’s exactly what you’ll learn inside:
A simplified explanation of what anemia is, how red blood cells work, and what hemoglobin does in your body
The major triggers and risk factors behind anemia—age, gender, chronic illness, and more
Key symptoms to look out for that may be quietly impacting your daily life
A complete breakdown of all types of anemia: iron deficiency, B12/folate-related, hemolytic, aplastic, sickle cell, thalassemia, and more
Nutritional deficiencies, GI issues, menstruation, kidney disease, and other root causes fully explored
Physical and emotional symptoms you shouldn’t ignore—from brittle nails to mental fog
Diagnostic tools explained: CBC, ferritin, vitamin tests, reticulocyte count, and when to see a specialist
Full overview of medical treatments: supplements, injections, transfusions, erythropoietin, and treatment for underlying issues
Practical nutrition solutions: heme vs non-heme iron foods, absorption boosters like vitamin C, and foods that block iron
Anemia-friendly meal planning, recipes, and smoothie ideas to support energy and recovery
Special population chapters for women, children, teens, seniors, pregnant women, athletes, and those with chronic illness
Lifestyle strategies that work: hydration, exercise, stress management, and safer medication habits
Clear answers to commonly asked questions like “How long does it take to recover?”, “Can it come back?”, “Can I manage anemia without medication?”, and more
The hidden complications of untreated anemia—heart risks, pregnancy outcomes, weakened immunity, cognitive issues, and emotional health concerns

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
