Bruce R. Ellig graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BBA and MBA from University of Wisconsin. Before his retirement after over 35 years at Pfizer he served as its Corporate Vice President in charge of worldwide HR for his last 11 years reporting to the Company Chairman and CEO. During his last twenty-five years he was in charge of Pfizer's executive compensation program; during his last 11 years he also served as secretary of the board's executive compensation committee. Since then he has served on several other boards and their compensation committees.
He has held leadership positions in many professional HR organizations, is a prominent author, has guested at many prestigious colleges and universities, has been interviewed on national radio and television programs and has been widely quoted in print throughout the world. He is both a program designer and instructor for World at Work's executive compensation program.
