David L. Scott & Kay W. Scott have spent over thirty summers visiting national parks in the United States and Canada. Six summers were devoted to visiting and staying in America's national park lodges. The 2011 trip started at Chisos Mountain Lodge in Big Bend National Park and ended with Mammoth Cave Hotel in Mammoth Cave National Park. The Scotts have stayed in each of Yellowstone's nine lodges, Shenandoah's three lodges, Glacier's eight lodges, and Olympic's four lodges. They live in Valdosta, Georgia, where David is emeritus professor of finance at Valdosta State University and Kay is retired from the public schools. David is also author of Wall Street Words and the American Heritage Dictionary of Business.
