Have you been told you have bradycardia but still feel confused about what it really means for your daily life?
Do dizzy spells, fatigue, or fainting leave you wondering when to be concerned and when to relax?
Are you unsure whether your low heart rate is normal, lifestyle-related, or a sign of something serious?
Have medical terms, test results, or ECG reports left you feeling overwhelmed instead of informed?
Do you want clear answers about treatment options—without fear-driven language or false promises?
Are you searching for practical diet and lifestyle guidance that truly supports heart rhythm health?
Would you like a reliable, easy-to-understand guide that empowers you to take control of your heart health with confidence?
Bradycardia can feel confusing, unsettling, and even frightening—especially when information is scattered, overly technical, or contradictory. This book was written with a single purpose: to bring clarity, calm, and confidence to anyone seeking to understand slow heart rate conditions and move toward safe, informed recovery. From the very first page, it explains complex heart concepts in simple language, helping you understand what is happening inside your body and why it matters.
Inside this book, you will discover:
- A clear explanation of what bradycardia is, how it affects the heart, and how it differs from normal slow heart rates
- The difference between physiological and pathological bradycardia, including when it is harmless and when it needs attention
- Early symptoms and warning signs such as fatigue, dizziness, confusion, chest discomfort, and fainting—and how to track them accurately
- How heart anatomy, electrical pathways, and the autonomic nervous system regulate heart rhythm, explained simply
- The major types and causes of bradycardia, including aging, medications, electrolyte imbalance, hormonal factors, genetics, and athletic conditioning
- Step-by-step guidance on diagnostic tests such as ECGs, Holter monitors, blood tests, imaging studies, and stress testing
- How to understand medical reports and test results without feeling overwhelmed
- Practical lifestyle strategies covering nutrition, safe exercise, stress control, sleep habits, and home heart-rate monitoring
- A structured daily management plan you can personalize for your own needs
- Medical treatment options explained clearly, including observation, medications, pacemakers, and follow-up care
- Emergency awareness and first-aid readiness, including when to seek urgent help and how to prepare your home environment
- Modern monitoring technologies such as wearable devices, remote ECG tools, and emerging innovations
- Recovery and rehabilitation guidance focused on pacing, breathing techniques, mental well-being, and realistic goal-setting
- Special considerations for athletes, older adults, children, pregnancy, and individuals with other health conditions
- Long-term prevention strategies to protect heart health and reduce future complications
- A detailed, heart-supportive diet guide with foods to emphasize, foods to limit, and practical meal-planning tips

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
