About the Author

Mr. Michael Melton received his B.A. in Pre-Med in 1989 from the Evergreen State College. His undergraduate education included coursework in engineering, biology, and writing. Mr. Melton initially became acquainted with whiplash while working as a licensed massage therapist ten years ago. Shortly thereafter, he began writing and researching medical and health issues full-time. In 1993, Mr. Melton created Body-Mind Publications as a forum to disseminate the latest scientific findings to legal and health professionals. He is the author of The Complete Guide to Whiplash and The Guide to Low Velocity Whiplash Biomechanics, as well as the Editor and Publisher of the Soft-Tissue Review, a monthly newsletter that reviews the current scientific health and injury literature.
