Reviews
Using her own remodeling experiences as her base, the author mainly chats about the wide number of choices available in furbishings--floor/wall coverings, windows, kitchen cabinets, lighting, etc.--and furnishings and other appliances--stereo/video items, exercise equipment, and spas and pools. Although this book has some good information, most will still seek out the books on this topic published by Sunset and Better Homes & Gardens. What may attract readers is the 140-page listing of off-price or discount firms offering a variety of household items. Information for each firm includes address, phone, and catalog availability.
