Dr. John Swartzberg, MD, FACP, has been on the cutting edge of medicine for twenty years. He has been both a doctor with a private practice, as well as a Clinical Professor at two major medical universities.

Specializing in infectious diseases, Dr. Swartzberg had the foresight to become an expert in the causes, treatment and prevention of such serious infectious diseases as AIDS and Hepatitis C. He' is a recognized lecturer in microbiology and virology, two fields that examine the microbes that cause illnesses.

He is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. He was appointed the associate director of the UCB-UCSF Joint Medical Program in the Division of Health and Medical Sciences at Berkeley's School of Public Health in 1998.

Dr. Sheldon Margen

When the world's largest health-related newsletter began in October 1984, Sheldon Margen, a world-renowned physician, researcher, and Professor of Public Health agreed to chair the Editorial Board. He has recently retired from teaching at the University of California, but continues his extraordinary work leading the Wellness Letter and its series of books.
