About the Author
David J. Tenenbaum is a Wisconsin freelance magazine and web author who (usually) specializes in science, health, and the environment. He was the author of four books in Arco's Toolbox series for professional builders, which included topics on masonry, refrigeration and air conditioning, painting, patching, and sheet-metal work. He has earned a living as a barn-wrecker, nurseryman, farmer, mason, plasterer, carpenter, handyman, leather bag maker, and writer. He has repaired three houses with a combined age of 275 years.
