1. ALL RETURN REQUESTS MUST GO THROUGH THE RETURN AUTHORIZATION PROCESS. WE DO NOT ENTERTAIN RETURN REQUESTS VIA AN INQUIRY.
2. The customer has 30 days after they receive the item to return the item. If we make an error, and send the wrong book or a book arrives damaged, then we make full restitution.
3. Keep in mind, we photograph each book prior to shipping.
4. If you have a problem with the condition of a book, or there is a problem with a book, we expect to be notified within seven days of receipt of the book so we can rectify the problem.
5. AbeBooks’ Return Policy guarantees that you can return any book for a refund within 30 days, when the return is due to an error on the bookseller’s part. If you received the wrong book, or if it’s the correct book but was inaccurately described online, or if the book arrived damaged, follow these return instructions. HOWEVER, if you: ordered the wrong book in error; ordered a textbook and then dropped the class; ordered a book and changed your mind, we have the discretion to decline the refund. See below.
6. We do expect the book be returned in the same exact condition.
7. Our books are uploaded electronically by scanning the bar code so as to avoid errors. This is how we avoid sending a wrong edition etc.
8. If a customer wishes to return a book for discretionary reasons, then it is up to the buyer to return the book at their own expense. Our shipping rates are below cost, and it is impossible to reimburse the customer the fill rate.
9. Books returned without postage or with "postage due" WILL NOT arrive to our facility and may cause a refund not to be issued. So, to avoid delays please pay for shipping as our rates are lower than the lowest rate for media mail. Our shipping costs are discounted for our buyers.
10. NEW ITEMS IN SHRINK WRAP OR PLASTIC, IF RETURNED OPENED, WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 50 PERCENT RESTOCKING FEE.
    9A. TYPICALLY, WE DO NOT CHARGE RESTOCKING FEES SO LONG AS THE BOOK IS IN THE SAME EXACT CONDITION, AND IT IS THE SAME EXACT BOOK. Upon the item's return, we will inspect it against our photographs, and process a refund.
11. We respond to emails immediately. If you do not get an immediately reply, mostly likely, we did not get the email.
12. Books that arrive damaged or do not meet expectations must be reported within 7 days.
13. A refund is processed once the book arrives back at out facility and undergoes an inspection.

AbeBooks’ Return Policy guarantees that you can return any book for a refund within 30 days, when the return is due to an error on the bookseller’s part. However, if you:
ordered the wrong book in error;
ordered a textbook and then dropped the class;
ordered a book and then realized you don’t need it after all;
ordered a book and then found another copy elsewhere;
then the bookseller made no error and is not required to accept a return.
