This is the centenary history of the infamous Whitechapel murders of 1888 by Jack the Ripper, who was never captured for his crimes. This book lays out all the known evidence in the most comprehensive summary there has ever been of all the facts, theories, and nonsense that have been written about the Ripper. The author has taken every theory to deep scrutiny and has exploded a few notions but has not found the real Jack the Ripper. A clean very presentable copy.
