Apparently an uncommon edition of a popular title. This example accords with the copy at Rochester noted as 133 in An Annotated Catalogue of the Edward C. Atwater Collection of American Popular Medicine and Health Reform, except that colour has been applied to all plates here, and the first plate and final leaf of text are not used as pastedowns. This copy with boards detached (present) and no spine panel. Textblock remains sound, with original front and rear endpaper. Plates toned, one with fore-edge chipped. 7 x 4.6 inches.
