Sixty three newly translated poems have been added to the widely praised edition translated by Rae Dalven with an Introduction by W.H.Auden which was first published in 1961 and at that time was the first complete edition of C.P.Cavafy in English which contained 187 poems , including thirty three early poems of Cavafy which had never before appeared in book form either in English or in Greek 311p. notes bibliography.
