Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover without DJ. Purple cloth over boards with gold lettering on spine. Covers are faded due to age, particularly the spine which is toned to a grayish color. Binding is good and tight. This copy comes with the remains of the original slipcase, which is also sun-faded to the point of losing its purple hue. Deckled edges. The Medusa Head. Title page dated 1928. Copyright page dated 1928. 107 pages. First two blank pages are partially separated from the spine. Front free endpaper has previous owner's name written in black ink on top right corner, dated 31 October 1967. Small sticker from Boston Book & Art Shop in the bottom left corner. Pages are clean with light toning from age. Last printed page states this edition to be number 54 of 800 copies printed. Overall a nice copy. Please email with questions or to request photos. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover with no DJ inside slipcase. Purple cloth boards with gold illustration on front cover, gold lettering on spine. Title and copyright pages dated 1928. This book is number 36 of 775 copies printed on Unicorn Paper. Slip case has shelf wear along outer surfaces. Top side of slip case damaged and partially removed. Sticker on spine of DJ gives the book title and its limited edition number of 36. Boards are clean. Spine is heavily faded but gold lettering is intact and still legible. Deckle edge pages. Contains illustrations by Elinore Blaisdell throughout. Toning from illustrations on opposite pages. Pages are otherwise clean. Binding strong and tight. Very Good condition.
