Item description from seller

Introductory memoir by William Bell Scott. 750pp. Illustrated with color and monochrome plates. Text printed in two columns. Full padded maroon textured-calf with gilt on the front board and the spine, scritta pages with rounded corners, all page edges two-toned (gilt that shows red at an angle), gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, and an attached plum bookmark. Boards and spine show some wear, spine sunned, bookmark fraying at the end, very good with the hinges sound. This particular edition of Lord Byron's works published by Collins' Clear-Type Press appears to be quite uncommon, it is unrecorded by *OCLC* and Library Hub Discover.
