Near fine book in clean fresh brown buckram covers with bright gilt titles and gilt and black decoration to front and to spine; blind stamped decoration to rear. Internally very good and free of inscriptions; decorative end papers; binding tight; no foxing but tanning to feps. A very attractive copy of this scarce edition published to commemorate the centenary of Burns' first publication 'Poems, chiefly in the Scottish Dialect'.
