Plates: Illustrated title page. Bound without English county maps and plans, but with 20 maps of world countries, hand-outlined In colour. 32 Kings and Queens of England plus duplicate of of James I. 5 others: View of Halifax, Nova Scotia; View of Montreal; View of the Plains of Abraham near Quebec, and of Quebec City. Condition: Good. Wear to edges, rubbing to leather, with small loss to bottom front corner. Scattered foxing. No inscriptions. One plate damaged and repacked [Henry VIII]. 2 x James I [duplicated.] A couple of small edge tears, not affecting text. Final 3 leaves are creased, with crumpled tear to bottom edge, and final page with top left quarter torn and missing - this page has been rebacked. Size: 11x9in / 28x23cm. 983pp. Weight: 3kg.
