FINE / NO DJ. Complete works in miniature, 4 volume set in slipcase, all with added introductions and glossaries. Vol. I: The Comedies, 768 pp. Vol. 2: The Histories, 704 pp. Vol. 3: Tragedies, 576 pp. Vol. 4: Tragedies / Poems, 576 pp. Gift inscription on verso of front endpaper of first volume, otherwise pages of all volumes are completely clean, unmarked, and undamaged. Soft covers are dark blue pebbly faux leather, gold titling and leaf pattern on spines, top edge of text block(s) dark blue. Vol. II has two tiny rubbed areas on edge of spine, vol. III top of spine is slightly bent, otherwise volumes are in like-new condition. Cardboard slipcase covered in patterned blue paper. Shelfworn on edges; small areas where top of paper is ripped or worn off; some tanning on top. Still solid but showing its age. Contents, however, have been well-protected.

The Friends & Foundation's primary goals are to raise private and public funds to help ensure the library's financial security, to enable the highest level of library service to the community in the 21st Century, and to help build broad public support for the library¿s programs. Contributions augment public support and are used to expand library collections, programs and services; to support capital improvements of library facilities; and to support professional resources, services and staff.
