This 6.5 x 9.875 inch hardcover book is the 1853 printing of this title with that date on the title page but with no additional publishing information given. This book is in only good condition with considerable time-wear showing. The red cloth covers still plainly show the elaborate gilt design work on front and back panels and spine - - with the title -*Miss Landon?s Complete Works - Boston Edition*- shown on the spine. The covers show the corners worn through but only marginally and with spine tattering to top and bottom - - but again marginally. There is developing separation of the binding cloth along the spine edges but the binding is still firmly intact and not in danger of coming apart. All edges of the text block are gilt. The interior shows a previous owners inked name on the ffep and the endpapers themselves show a severe discoloration from possibly some spillage but this does not really carry over into the text pages. The title page does indicate -*Two Volumes in One*- and lists eleven different titles as contents for this volume. The text pages are all in all about very good - - with certainly some staining showing occasionally and with time-wear stains and a bit of foxing showing - - but all in all the text pages are in good condition. This book may require additional shipping charges - - especially for any international destinations.
