[TOLSTOY, LEO (1828-1910)]. The Complete Works. London: G. J. Howell, 1905. LIMITED EDITION, NO. 23 OF 250 COPIES ONLY. Complete in 24 volumes; leather-bound; hardcover; octavo (222 x 250 mm). Handsomely bound in contemporary half red morocco gilt by Bayntun (Riviere) of Bath, the spines with six compartments and five raised bands, top edges gilt, illustrated. Condition: VERY GOOD. Bindings tight and secure with all hinges and joints intact. Some boards with light mottling, the spines lightly sunned. Interiors very well-preserved. A most attractive set.
