Tissue protected plates throughout, some in color or sepia. Brown cloth with gilt spine lettering, top edges gilt, volumes about 8.5 inches tall. Some condition issues with a brief encounter with liquid that has left subtle light transparent marks on a couple of covers, no musty odor. Some rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text blocks, personal bookplates removed from inside front covers with some darkened areas to the front free endpapers, some waviness to the top edges of pages in volumes I and VI but without stains, volume II does have some light coffee colored stains to the outer margins, some pages still unopened at the edges which implies the books may never have been read, no names or other markings. Includes all of Mrs. Browning's works including Battle of Marathon, Sonnets from the Portuguese, Aurora Leigh and many more, including both poetry and prose. Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
