In half calf bindings. Externally sound, with a little rubbing to the joints, extremities and spines, particularly to the head and tail of the spines. Front board to Vol IV is detached but intact. Loss to the head of the backstrip to Vol XI. Front joints to Vols I, III and IV are split, with backstrips lifting away from the spines. Front joint splitting to Vol II, with the backstrip lifting slightly to the head and tail. Front joint cracking to Vols V, VIII and XII. Front hinges are starting to Vol I, II, and V, but held firmly by cords. Front hinge is tender to Vol IV but held by cords. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Good.
