Large hardcover with decorated cover, in good condition: spine ends a little frayed, corner tips a little bumped, pages unmarked and age-yellowed, 6cm tear of the title page (parallel to the spine) which has been repaired with tape on the back side, owner's name penciled on the front endpaper. "People's Popular Edition" at the bottom of the spine. 828 pages. Undated, circa 1880. [3.6 lbs].

I started selling used books in 1985 in Davis, California, and online in 1998. I enjoy the process of using language to fully describe the advantages and blemishes of each book.
