Quarterbound leather with blue, lightly patterned cloth. Faded gilt title on spine which has five raised bands with somewhat faded gilt decorations. Some edge and corner wear along with light scuffs on leather. A few pages in center of book are very slightly pulled forward, perhaps a printing flaw since binding does not appear to be the problem. Book is square and binding secure. G+ to VG-. Exceptional illustration with a full page title illustration for each play. (Title page says that the original engravings were done by the Brothers Dalziel.) Very attractive single volume from this three-volume set.; B&W Illustrations from Engravings; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 746 pages.
