Imprint of John Tallis to engraved title of I, II, and plain title of II; imprint of London Printing and Publishing to engraved III, and plain title of I and III. Fabulous contemporary binding incorporating a raised harlequin pattern in leather surrounded by plush dark blue velvet. Velvet crushed, chipped, and dulled along spines, but remains vibrant and whole on all boards. No indication of binder to me. All edges gilt; all hinges sound. Dark green slate endpapers. Foxing to free endpapers verso and to facing blank; else clear. 10.9 x 7.75 inches.
