With previous owner's name and an April 1939 date, otherwise this is a near fine hardcover first edition copy in a mylar protected DJ that still has the extra band advertising " By the same author PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE FIGURE ready in June 1938." A hint of this can be found in a, gasp, nude photo in this book which is reproduced on the DJ.
