About the Author
Shawn Nelson has coached film and television stars for almost 30 years. Among his many clients are Emmy and Golden Globe nominees and winners. A member of the Directors Guild and Screen Actors Guild, he has performed professionally in film and television, has directed prime-time TV, and is a produced screen writer. Mr. Nelson has taught master classes for film directing students at the Sedona Film School, at Northern Arizona University School of Cinema, and at the Liberty University Center for Cinematic Arts. He was an adjunct professor of practice at the University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts, and a guest instructor at Pasadena City College. Comprehensive Contemporary Acting and his audio course in acting - The Impersonal Actor - are college study material. He received his BFA in Drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.
