About the Author

D. Ray Collins and Patrick B. Hodges are longtime contributors to professional literature in sport and physical education, collectively co-authoring 15 textbooks and numerous journal articles. Collins is Professor of Physical Education and sport science at St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, Minnesota. Hodges is Department Chairperson of Physical Education and Athletics, and Professor of Physical Education at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio.
