Comprehensive Inventory of Birds and Mammals at Fort Necessity National Battlefield and Friendship Hill National Historic Site (Technical Report NPS/NERCHAL/NRTR-04/093)

The National Park Service determined the need for in-depth inventorying of bird and mammal populations at Fort Necessity National Battlefield (FONE) and Friendship Hill National Historic Site (FRHI) in southwestern Pennsylvania. The objectives of the bird and mammal inventory project: (1) obtain comprehensive inventory data on birds and mammals, (2) document occurrence, identify distribution, and estimate relative abundance of birds and mammals, and (3) provide guidance for monitoring birds and mammals at FONE and FRHI.
